That certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the building official of the town, being marked and designated as the 2022 California Building Code, Volumes 1 and 2 (Title 24, Part 2), and the 2022 California Residential Code (Title 24, Part 2.5) with Appendix Chapters G (Swimming Pools and Hot Tubs), H (Patio Covers) and J (Existing Buildings) as published by the International Code Council and adopted by the California Building Standards Commission as Title 24 California Code of Regulations, is adopted as the building code of the town for regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and maintenance of all buildings and/or structures in the town; control of excavation and grading; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees; providing penalties for violation of such code; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties of such 2022 California Building Code, and the 2022 California Residential Code and are referred to, adopted and made a part of this chapter as if fully set out in this chapter, subject to the amendments, deletions and additions thereto, as provided in this chapter.
